At the annual 3L celebration honoring the contributions of the graduating class, HLAB President Suzanna Bobadilla presented Zoe Russell with the 2022 Betty Allebach Award, which is a prize voted on by the entire Bureau and given to the 3L who best exemplifies the HLAB spirit. Zoe Russell showcased phenomenal grace and leadership in serving as the Family Practice Area Head this past year and has been a model zealous advocate. After graduation, Zoe will be representing indigent parents accused of prenatal/postpartum drug use as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at The Bronx Defenders in New York. Congratulations, Zoe!
