Libby Benton, a third year law student and member of the housing practice at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, was recently awarded a Skadden Fellowship. Benton has spent much of her time at the Bureau leading the Foreclosure Task Force and will be continuing her foreclosure related work next year at Harvard Law School's WilmerHale Legal Services Center in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Bureau alum Mike Zabelin also received a Skadden Fellowship this year. Zabelin will work at Rhode Island Legal Services in Providence, R.I., to enforce state and federal measures designed to protect low-income homeowners from foreclosure, using impact litigation, negotiation and community education.
